Days at Amishk follow the weather and the visitors' curiosity: canoeing on the lake, the beaver trail, medicinal plants, furs and trapping, crafts, and the stories told around the fire.

Expect to run out of time to do everything! Montcalm Regional Park, where Amishk is located, has an area of 13 square km and you will be the only ones on site with our other guests. The activities are done according to the meteorological conditions, the duration of your stay (5 hours, 1 or 2 nights) and the personal interest of each one.

Operation dates for 2019: Daily from May 13th to November 3rd.

Learning & fun adventure

  • Interpretation activities of traditional culture (introduction to fishing, medicinal plants, identification of fauna and flora, furs, handicrafts)
  • Participatory craft workshop
  • Preparation and tasting of traditional dishes
  • Buggy ride
  • Canoe trip
  • Storytelling around the campfire
  • Hiking (the beaver trail and the trail along Amishk Lake are the main ones, there are miles of trails in the Regional Park …)
  • Interpretation of furs and hatch
