Alongside the regular stays, Amishk ran two-night theme weekends with specialist guests: drum nights in spring, traditional cooking and forest products in the fall.

In 2019, we organize two-night theme trips to the Amishk site. In addition to our experienced Native American guides and regular activities, experts in their field will be on hand to offer learning and exchange workshops in the following areas:

Two evenings with each visitor a drum and a teacher

Traditional Cooking Workshops & Non-Timber Forest Products
In the presence of a Native American grandmother and a boreal forest specialist, learn how to prepare Native American dishes by maximizing what our “Mother Earth” has to offer.
