For 1 or 2 night package, it is at 2pm (14h00) and for the 5 hour package: 10h00 (am). Because there will be our staff waiting to transfer you by side-by-side from the parking to our site.
French and English (also Native American languages) are spoken.
Even if the First Nations dishes are often with meat, if you notify us in advance, we will be happy to prepare a menu based on your food status.
We suggest you bring the following items:
– Flashlight (although provided in the tipi or prospector’s tent)
– Shoes or walking boots
– Shampoo and soap
We will give you a towel for the shower. Drinking water is available at the site including a gourd for you during your stay for drinking or brushing teeth. Alcohol and cannabis is allowed but we ask that you do not offer it to the guides and cooks for security reasons. They are advised to this effect.
Please plan to bring from the parking small bags for your personnal belongings. Not large and heavy lugage because our site is quiet large and transportation is an issue.
Tipping / service is not included in the price as is generally the case across Canada. If you are fully satisfied with your stay, a tip paid overall to the staff is suggested at $ 10 per traveler per day of stay. No obligation to this effect.
From downtown Montreal, take the Highway # 40 direction East to Quebec, exit 960 on Highway 640 West, exit 42 north to Highway 25 North towards Rawdon. (If you are leaving from Laval, take Highway # 440 northbound which becomes Highway # 25 towards Rawdon). On highway # 25 North, take exit # 46, direction St-Lin on road # 158. Set your odometer to 0.
If you use your GPS, note that the closest civic address to Amishk is: 3025 8è rang Est, Saint-Calixte. From there, follow our signs to the parking located 3km.
