  • Arrival time ?

For 1 or 2 night package, it is at 2pm (14h00) and for the 5 hour package: 10h00 (am).  Because there will be our staff waiting to transfer you by side-by-side from the parking to our site.

  • What language spoken at Amishk?

French and English (also Native American languages) are spoken.

  • I am a vegetarian / vegan, is there a menu accordingly?

Even if the First Nations dishes are often with meat, if you notify us in advance, we will be happy to prepare a menu based on your food status.

  • What to bring?

We suggest you bring the following items:

– Flashlight (although provided in the tipi or prospector’s tent)

– Shoes or walking boots

– Rainwear

– Anti-mosquito

– Shampoo and soap

We will give you a towel for the shower. Drinking water is available at the site including a gourd for you during your stay for drinking or brushing teeth. Alcohol and cannabis is allowed but we ask that you do not offer it to the guides  and cooks for security reasons. They are advised to this effect.

Please plan to bring from the parking small bags for your personnal belongings. Not large and heavy lugage because our site is quiet large and transportation is an issue.

  • Tip?

Tipping / service is not included in the price as is generally the case across Canada. If you are fully satisfied with your stay, a tip paid overall to the staff is suggested at $ 10 per traveler per day of stay. No obligation to this effect.
