Cultural authenticity
Amishk was never meant as a folkloric set. Its guides and hosts came from the First Nations of Quebec and spoke about their own culture, community and family.
In Amishk's own words
Text published by Amishk Aventures Amérindiennes, 2020 season.
Our guides and our animators are members of one of the First Nations of Quebec. All information provided by them is consistent with their culture and personal history in their community and family. Amishk Aboriginal Adventures is a showcase of the nomadic Aboriginal cultures of contemporary Quebec while referring to the history of the first people present in the Americas.
